MJ’s death is not the first time we’ve seen this kind of out-of-control, random, hysterical speculation from the media. Sometimes it seems that in the race for ratings and the pressure to fill every second of airtime with “expertise”, they will put a microphone on anyone. And the web-based media outlets aren’t any better. If I had a dime for every quack who wrote an article badmouthing cardio or anything that dares to criticize the average sedentary American’s lifestyle, I could buy my own media empire.
